Yodogawa fireworks display in Osaka on the 4th of August,2012

Yodogawa fireworks display is held in Yodogawa river which is the largest and longest river in Osaka city the 1st Saturday of August every year!!   There are some areas to see it around Juso or Nakatsu!! It takes ye about 20mins on foot from hankyu Umeda station or JR Osaka station to the riverbed to see it!! I have never seen it from Juso side!!

Tenjin matsuri festival in Osaka on the 25th of July,2012

Tenjin matsuri festival is one of the biggest festival in Japan!! Every year 25th of July fireworks display is held along Okwa river!!
nearest station is Tenmabashi station( Keihan railwayor underground/subway station on Tanimachi line)

I went to Osaka castle park to see fireworks display at Tenji matsuri festival!!  I arrived so early and talked to some western men and women from Canada and Germany there!!









 

 I mainly videotaped it so I didn't take a lot of pictures which was unusal lol

Later 4 western people I had met around Osaka castle and I walked down to Okawa river as they wanted to see floating boats and fireworks display!!

 The name of bridge is the same as my family name lol
Luckily we could see fireworks display closer even if there were many people there!!

Last year's hikari no renaissance in Osaka,December

Xmas lights in front of Osaka city hall

Hikari no renaissance has been held since 2003 so this year is 10th!! It will be held in Nakanoshima park,Osaka city from the 14th of December to Xmas,2012 but also the preview one will be held from the 1st of December to 13th of December in advance as well!!  It will take ye just 15 mins on foot from Umeda to Osaka city hall and nearest station is Underground/subway Yodoyabashi station(midousuji line) which is just one station from Umeda station on midousuji line!!  note that there are nishi umeda and higashi umeda stations so please don't be confused!!
